1. Stores are stocked with VCDL Lobby Day items - time to pick them up! Buses still have seats available
Some stores are going through their Lobby Day items quickly, others have plenty of inventory. If you haven't got your items, be sure to pick them up next week, as Lobby Day is approaching quickly.

Green Top Sporting Goods in Ashland said they handed out half their flags in a few days. We have more flags on the way there.

Signs are in stock everywhere.

The magnets are on their way to distribution and will be available next week.

The shipping company for stickers managed to fumble the ball and the stickers won't arrive until Tuesday or Wednesday. So we are not sure if they will be able to be distributed them in time. We'll update you when we know more.

Large (3'x5') flags have arrived. Contact bruce@vcdl.org to get one (cost is $45).

For those needing to take a bus, we still have room. To make a reservation for the buses leaving Fairfax County, Hampton, Staunton, or Emporia, send an email to: bus@vcdl.org

2. Amateur radio operators - we need you!
CALLING ALL LICENSED HAMS COMING TO LOBBY DAY!

VCDL needs your help herding the caravans or keeping an eye on traffic flow in Richmond, as we make our way into Richmond on the 18th! Trap Canterbury (KB8ABJ) is coordinating licensed hams willing to help us track and communicate with our caravans. APRS or DMR capability is helpful, but even a licensed ham with a cellphone and a data plan can help. Please contact president@vcdl.org if you are willing to assist!

3. We need a bus captain for the Emporia bus and could use another for the Staunton bus
We need at least one person as the bus captain for the Emporia bus, two if possible.

We would like one more person as a co-captain for the Staunton bus.

The Fairfax County and Hampton buses have two co-captains, so they are good go to.

Bus captains are critical in allowing us to track the bus via GPS and communicate with the bus driver, should we need to do so.

If you can help with either the Emporia bus (critical) or the Staunton bus, let me know ASAP: president@vcdl.org

4. Three more stores are carrying flags, signs, magnets, stickers
These stores will have items next week:

* New River Sports, 3376 Kirby Road, Draper, VA 24324
* Highland Tactical Solutions, 6241 Lakeside Drive, Quintion, VA 23141
* Big Bore Outfitters, 412 Clinton Ave., Big Stone Gap, VA 24219

All stores carrying the items can be found here.

5. VCDL signs - a great way to send a message and easy to carry
These signs are available at the various Lobby Day distribution locations as a convenience for those that might want one. They are very light and waterproof. Suggested donation is $10.

6. There will be prizes for the best decked-out vehicles on Lobby Day!
Besides putting VCDL flags and other items on your vehicles in support of the 2A, be creative with your own ideas! There will be prizes for the vehicles with the best decorations.
