1. URGENT ACTION ITEM: Charles City County getting input on possible shooting restrictions

Late notice: Charles City County is having a Zoom meeting TONIGHT, February 5, from 7pm to 8pm to get community input on possible shooting restrictions on private property.

The flyer says, "We would like to get your feedback on target shooting on private property. Specifically, on the distance from your neighbor's property line."

If you live or shoot in that county, you had best let your voice be heard NOW, as I guarantee there will be some calling for more restrictions.

2. SB1250 is dead for the year
Your emails worked! SB1250, which required background checks to rent a gun at a range, has been sent back to committee from the Floor. That committee is not going to meet today, so that bill is dead for this year.
