Attend the Crime Commission hearing on Tuesday, August 20

The Crime Commission has provided more detail on the upcoming hearing on all the gun control bills introduced during the Special Session of the General Assembly last month.  The hearing is on Tuesday, August 20.  It is scheduled from Noon until 8 pm.  HOWEVER, if you want to speak, the doors open at 9 am and you can sign up to do so at that time.  You must sign up in person on a first come, first serve basis.

The meeting will be held at:

House Committee Room (ground floor to the immediate left after going through security)
Pocahontas Building (temporary General Assembly Building)
900 East Main Street
Richmond Va

The doors to the meeting room will open at 11 am.

I have applied to speak for the organization and will have 4 minutes to do so.  At the end of my talk, I will ask everyone in agreement to stand up.  We need to pack the room!

Carry is allowed if you have a CHP.  Don't bring knives or other things considered weapons, though.  Make sure your CHP has not expired and have photo ID ready, too.

Meeting room rules:
