Membership Info

VCDL is a non-profit, volunteer based, non-partisan, grassroots organization dedicated to championing the human rights of all Virginians and to the premise that The Right to Keep and Bear Arms is a fundamental human right.

VCDL invites all Virginians who support the Bill of Rights to join our grassroots effort. However, you do not need to be a Virginia resident to join and support VCDL!

Note: Contributions, gifts, or membership dues are not deductible for Federal income tax purposes.

Join Online

Individual

• Individual membership is $25 per year.
• Membership term is 1 year from your join date.
• You will have the option of choosing Auto-renew membership during registration.

Family

• Family membership is $25 for the first family member and $15 for each additional family member.
• Family members must all reside at the same address.
• You may register between 2 and 6 family members.
  
• Each of your family members will have their own member account with a Username/Password. After you register, you may add your family members' accounts. Instructions are posted on our website.

You Will Receive

With your membership, you'll receive a member packet in the mail. It includes a membership card, a list of the current carry laws in Virginia, and more.

Members who are current on their dues will have access to the member forum on the member-only side of the VCDL.org website. To access the member forum you must create a new portal account.  Your prior credentials will not work.  Directions are below.

Prior Members

• If you are a current or past member and your membership HAS expired, you can renew by using the links below. Select a member type, then scroll past the login widget on the enrollment page and enter your information on the form.  Enter your name as it is on your membership card, and your email that is associated with your account. Do NOT include any suffix (Jr., Sr., MD, etc.). If you are unsure about this data please email membership@vcdl.org and we will verify your information.

• If you are a current member and your membership has NOT expired, please create a portal account and renew through the portal. Follow the instructions below.  If you do not renew through the portal you will create concurrent memberships instead of renewing your current one.  Your membership is eligible for renew 60 days before expiration.  Your expiration date will show in the top right of your member portal when you have an active membership.

Creating a Portal Account

• Click the login link at the top right of any VCDL.org page
• Click CREATE ACCOUNT on the login widget if you haven't already created a portal account
• Enter your name as it is on your membership card (no suffix) and your email associated with your account
• Create a password by following the prompts
• CLICK THE VERIFICATION LINK in the welcome email

Renewing through the Member Portal

• Log into VCDL.org and click the MY MEMBERSHIPS tile
• Click the blue Renew link to the right of the top membership
• If you do not see your member history please contact admin@vcdl.org to link your account
